Caledonia Golf and Fish Club

Say the name "Caledonia" to any golfer and you're likely to be regaled with tales of this legendary lowland course by award-winning designer, Mike Strantz. The experience begins long before you ever step up to the first tee, as you pass through the gates of the oak-lined private drive and approach the antebellum clubhouse, half expecting Scarlett O'Hara to emerge. It ends sitting on the clubhouse veranda observing others struggle with the eighteenth hole as previous finishers watched you. In between, you are bedazzled by centuries-old forests, pristine lakes and sweeping views of old rice fields on a course packed with sly surprises.
