Indian Wells Golf Resort The golf resort at Indian Wells is a premier, full service resort named by California Golf as one of the top 10 resorts in the state. Both the East Course and West Course offer beautiful greens, rolling fairways, natural desert plantings and panoramic vies of the surrounding Santa Rosa mountains. Desert Willow Golf ResortDesert Willow Golf Resort uses exclusively the natural elements of the native desert environment. The resort offers two courses and is located in Palm Desert Tahquitz Creek Golf ClubTahquitz Creek Golf Resort has two courses on property. The Legends Course is a traditional style desert course with picturesque mountain views that makes its way through many tree lined fairways. La Quinta Resort & Club La Quinta Resort and Club has been rated by four starts by Golf Digest and offers spectacular views of the Santa Rosa Mountains as a scenic backdrop. The Dunes Course is a difficult links-type course. The Mountain Course is a spectacular Dye design using the Santa Rosa Mountains not only as a scenic backdrop but also as an integral part of the course. Heritage Palms Golf Club Heritage Palms offers vistas from every vantage point, from the rising majestically landmark mountains to the tranquility pristine desert (The Coachella Valley). Rancho La Quinta Country Club The Pete Dye-designed Dunes Course at La Quinta is not very long, but it plays a lot tougher than the scorecard indicates. There are seven intimidating water hazards and a multitude of bunkers, most of them very difficult. It is the kind of course where you can see the ball bouncing off the railroad ties even before you hit it. Naturally, this exciting course is superbly maintained, and nestled against the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains, it is a visual feast as well. Indian Wells Country Club The two Indian Wells courses are among the most beautiful in Palm Springs valley. Lush, undulating fairways are surrounded by lakes and outlined by panoramic views of the mountains. Each course has approximately 120 sandtraps, including the feared and respected pot bunker variety and there are many excellent holes here, some of the particularly scenic and challenging. |
